“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
(Acts 20:35)

Generosity is a gift from God and one of the most beautiful ways to show His love. When we are generous, we follow the example of Jesus, who gave us everything—even His own life.

Being generous doesn’t only mean giving money or material things. It also means giving our time, listening with intention, helping those in need, and offering words of encouragement. Small acts can make a big difference.

Living with generosity means trusting that God takes care of us. When we share what we have with joy, we show that we are not driven by selfishness. Instead, we recognize that everything comes from God and we desire for others to be blessed as well.

Jesus is the greatest example of generosity. He didn’t think of Himself but gave His life for us. When we give to others—even if it’s something small—we reflect that love in a tangible way.

We often desire special gifts, but we forget that generosity is a powerful one. In a world where many think only of themselves, those who are generous stand out.

Ask God to give you a generous heart—one that is attentive to the needs of those around you. Let your life bring comfort, hope, and love. After all, when we are generous, we show Jesus through our actions.

Have a generous heart

Share: generosity is not about the amount, but the willingness. Small acts done with love can deeply impact someone’s life.

Be available to listen and help: being generous also means offering your time and attention. Sometimes, a sincere conversation and a caring presence are worth more than any material possession.

Give with joy, without expecting anything in return: true generosity comes from a grateful heart. When we give without expecting something back, we reflect God’s love in a real and transformative way.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your love and for everything You have given me. Teach me to be generous, to share with joy and sensitivity what I receive from You. Give me an open heart to help, comfort, and bless those around me. Use my life as an instrument of Your grace, so that through me, others may come to know Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
